What is the NA7 ​form?

The NA7 ​form indicates the sponsorship of a foreign national entering Vietnam with a dependent visa.

It is a required document when applying for the Vietnam temporary residence card (Vietnam TRC). The form requests personal information of the sponsor and sponsoree, which is essential for TRCs issuance.

The NA7 ​form and supporting documents must be submitted to the Immigration Department/Office. If you are residing in Ha Noi or Ho Chi Minh City, consult these addresses:

1. 📌 In Ha Noi: No. 44 – 46, Tran Phu Street, Ba Dinh District
2. 📌 In Ho Chi Minh City: No. 333 – 335 – 337, Nguyen Trai Street, District 1

You can also submit the form and supporting documents at the provincial Immigration Office.

Step-by-step guide to completing the NA7 ​form

All information on the NA7 ​form must be correct to ensure approval for the Vietnam TRC. However, there isn’t an official translation of this form.

To help you understand which information is required of the sponsor and sponsoree, we have prepared the following guide. Let’s get started:

🔻 Step 1: In the blank following “(1) kính gửi“, indicates the authority to which you will submit this form. Choose from either the Immigration Department or a provincial Immigration Office.

🔻 Step 2: The “I. Người bảo lãnh” section is for the sponsor:

1. ● Họ tên (Full name): copy the full name as shown on ID.
2. ● Giới tính (Sex): tick one box (Male or Female).
3. ● Ngày sinh (Date of Birth): note that the date format is dd/mm/yyyy.
4. ● Địa chỉ thường trú (Permanent address): copy the permanent address as is from the household registration book or ID.
5. ● Địa chỉ tạm trú (Temporary address): only provide this if the sponsor is not living at the permanent address.
6. ● Số căn cước công dân/hộ chiếu (Personal identification number/passport number)
7. ● Điện thoại liên hệ/Email (Phone number/Email)
8. ● Nghề nghiệp (Job title). Include a work address in “Nơi làm việc hiện nay”, if any.

🔻 Step 3: The “II. Người được bảo lãnh” section is for the sponsoree:

1. ● Họ tên (Full name): copy the full name as shown on ID/passport.
2. ● Mối quan hệ (Relationship to the sponsor): select from either Spouse, Child, Parent, Sibling, Grandson/Granddaughter, Grandparent, etc.

🔻 Step 4: The “III. Nội dung bảo lãnh” section is for the sponsor:

1. ● Người bảo lãnh (ký, ghi rõ họ tên) (The sponsor (signature, full name)): This space is reserved for the sponsor’s signature and full name.
2. ● Xác nhận (3) (Confirmation from competent authorities): This space is reserved for administrative purposes. If the sponsor’s information is accurate and current, an official will sign and affix a red stamp here.

Vietnam temporary residence card application translation services
